My Movie Review : 96

This is a tamil movie I wanted to watch and I finally caught it on the flight. It was so poetic and the lead pair Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan are so good!

The movie is about two high school sweethearts who go their separate ways for 20 years and meet at a reunion. They talk about the reasons that separated their ways and how their lives are now. And it’s so fucking sad because they realize they are still hung upon each other but can’t get together due to their marital status. The girl has a kid and says that she is peaceful with her husband but not happy and there’s no hint of them wanting to get together and it made me think, if you meet your love after you are married and have children, will you choose family over love? Just curious.
